We are located at 490 Lime Kiln Road in Charlotte, Vermont.

Guidelines

• IMPORTANT: All participants must sign a waiver prior to arrival.

• Drive slowly on Lime Kiln Road and MMFS driveway.

• Parking: The sanctuary is located at a private residence. Please park next to the driveway where marked. or in front of the barn. Please, do not not park in front of the house or garage.

• We ask that you arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior your scheduled tour, to ensure a staff member is available to greet you.

• All activities are outdoors. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.

• Biosecurity: If you visit other farms or have farm animals at home, please wear clean clothing and footwear that have not been used around other farm animals. We will ask you to use the footbath and/or shoe spray provided upon arrival.

• Children must be supervised at all times, and small children kept within reach..

• Do not bring food. Eating around the animals can cause issues, especially with pigs who can be aggressive near food.

• Do not enter paddocks, stalls, bird habitats, or any areas marked Staff Only.

Please note

• We are wheelchair and stroller accessible.

• We are unable to accommodate companion animals or service animals on the property.

• Please be respectful in how you speak about the animals. They are here to live out the rest of their natural lives and are no longer part of the traditional farming system. Refrain from referring to them in food terms such as "burger" or "bacon".

• Visitors may be asked to leave the premises at any time, with or without cause.

• If you are unable to attend your scheduled tour date, please contact us to reschedule. We are unable to refund tour donations.
