How Can I Help?

  • MMFS is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible.

Donations are how we survive as a sanctuary, and a crucial way to help. You can make a one time donation, or have something automatically donated each month.

All donations go directly to the daily operations of the sanctuary, such as purchasing animal feed, veterinary care, bedding and housing, hoof trimming, and sanctuary supplies.

Donate Here or use the “Donate” button at the top of the page.

  • Have a special bond with one of the rescues? You can sponsor them by visiting the Meet the Residents page. Each one has a bio and sponsorship link. Sponsorship donations are tax deductible.

From $5 a month, sponsorship goes toward all of the needs at the sanctuary - feed, veterinary care, hoof care, bedding and housing.

  • Directly purchase items online that we need and use daily. From treats to feed or supplements, all wish list items are things we need every day to care for animals at MMFS.

If you are local to Vermont and heading to Costco, we can always use:

    • Paper Towels

    • Baking Soda

    • Animal Crackers

    • Lettuce and Cucumbers
