Savannah is a 10 year old Highland cow from Virginia. She came to MMFS in October 2024 through our connections with the Farm Sanctuary Adoption Network. She was the first cow resident at MMFS!

Babette, a large 15-year-old Highland cow, came to MMFS in 2025 from Connecticut. Her mother had died and she needed a new companion. Babs joined Savannah, and settled in very well at the sanctuary. Fun Babs fact: She’s a big Fig Newton fan!

Wallace is a sweet 5 year old Highland steer who came to us from Connecticut in 2025 when he needed rehoming. He quickly settled in to life at MMFS and likes to stay close to Babette.
