After-School Animal Welfare Program
The Merrymac Farm Sanctuary is offering a 10 week Animal Welfare Afterschool Program for 9-12 year olds this fall. Our focus is to introduce students to the 5 values that the ASPCA uses to talk about Animal Welfare and how it relates to our 100 plus animals we have at the sanctuary.
1. Freedom from Hunger and Thirst
2. Freedom from Discomfort
3. Freedom from Pain, Injury or Disease
