Meet the goats

  • Alfie

Alfie came to MMFS in 2023 with 13 other CAE goats from a dairy in NH that shut down. Alfie is easy to spot because he is all black with no other markings. He's super sweet and friendly and loves attention.

  • Fluffy

  • Jar Jar

Jar Jar came to MMFS in 2022 when his owners were making life changes. He’s a senior boy who predates many of the Sanctuary goats, and is besties with Shadow.

  • Shadow

Shadow was rescued in 2023 from a neglect case that left him with permanent foot issues. He and Jar Jar are besties.

  • Vivie

Vivie joined MMFS with 13 other CAE (caprine arthritis and encephalitis) goats in 2023. She is bold and independent, and our resident escape artist. We often find her in other animals' pens checking out their breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We can spot Vivie across the barn because of her airplane-like ears.

  • Pixie

Pixie came to MMFS in spring 2024 after a difficult birth left her with soft tissue injuries that affected her ability to walk. With veterinary guidance, daily massage, and several rounds of antibiotics, Pixie grew into a strong, healthy, active girl loves to jump and enjoys interacting with people. Learn more

  • Norma Jean

Norma-Jean was an unexpected surprise born in 2024 to mom Billie-Jean (part of the 13 CAE goats who joined us in 2023). She grew up alongside Pixie, and they are often found exploring together. Norma is curious and sweet. Learn more
