Benji is a sweetheart. He’ll gently lay his head on you as long as you are petting him. He’s high energy and enjoys rearranging his habitat. He’s currently learning clicker training, a first for Merrymac rabbits!

Jupiter is a much loved holland lop who came to us when their owner’s home was impacted by the Summer ‘24 floods.

Eddie Vedder is a harlequin bunny. He’s docile and calm, and he stays near his bestie Phabio. They are both big fans of romaine lettuce and Oxbow treats.

Jessica is a Flemish Giant who was a much loved classroom rabbit in NYC at one time, but she outgrew her surroundings. She is a beautiful girl who gets lots of attention in the bunny room.

Roxanne came to us the day she gave birth to 8 babies (3 girls, 5 boys!) who were all spayed and neutered. We found wonderful homes for the boys, and Roxy gets to stay close to her 3 girls, Elsbeth, Beatrice, and Silver in forever sanctuary.

Elsbeth is one of Roxanne’s girls - she keeps a close eye on everything and shares her mom’s confidence.

Beatrice is a curious bunny and she especially loves her cranberry treats.

Silver lives in a deluxe bunny condo with her mom, Roxanne, and two sisters, Elsbeth and Beatrice. She was the smallest of the eight bunnies.

Mittens was found abandoned in May 2025. He was in rough shape from trying to make it on his own outside. But after a visit to the vet, neutering, and lots of intensive care, he is doing very well.

Sweet Pebbles is a spectacular silver Rex who loves playing with her hanging toys and running around. She was found abandoned in winter of 2025 - and received specialized intensive care and spay surgery. She’s currently being monitored for ongoing health issues.

In August 2025, MMFS helped organize a multi-agency rescue of 14 domesticated rabbits. Cora was one of five older rabbits who came to us for specialized care. Quiet and thoughtful, Cora now greets the bunny team eagerly each morning for a treat and enjoys the occasional gentle pet. Learn more

Fergus is a brown toned Flemish giant mix. He prefers to spend his days laying around chilling with a tiny bit of excercise. He is very friendly and loves his human interaction.
