Summer Hay Drive

Hay, grain, and feed are among our highest expenses. On average, we go through about 650 bales of hay each month, and this year, each bale costs up to $8. Daily nutrition includes more than baled hay. Many of our residents need soaked meals, Timothy cubes, alfalfa, grain, supplements, and carefully managed diets because of age, medical needs, dental issues, or chronic conditions.

Our Summer Hay Drive goal is $50,000. This helps us place orders with local vendors, and plan ahead for the season. Your tax-deductible donation helps us provide the steady nutrition our residents depend on.
